I visited an exhibition about The Viking Age at The National Museum of Denmark during the summer of 2021. This exhibition included the skeletons of two men from those times, who through DNA analysis had been determined to be related. They were either half-brothers, uncle and nephew or grandfather and grandson (read more here). This little piece of historical coincidence inspired me to create the above comic, titled “Reunion.”
